Apee Ochudho, MBA
Apee Ochudho is Executive Director of Anywaa Community in Minnesota (ACM). In this role, Mr. Ochudho leads and manages the organization, overseeing its operations, program, and the organization mission. He is responsible for implementing the organization’s mission, developing strategic plans, and ensuring financial sustainability. He also builds relationships with stakeholders, including the board of directors, donors, and the community at large.
Mr. Ochudho has experience in financial services and insurance in the Twin Cities and currently runs a homecare agency in Eagan. Mr. Ochudho has been active in the Anywaa community for a very long time. He was part of the team that organized the first community gatherings and community awareness campaigns that led to the creation of ACM
Mr. Ochudho was appointed by Governor Tim Walz to the Minnesota Emerging Entrepreneur Board as a board member. This government board awards grants to nonprofits that serve businesses owned by low-income or minority persons, women, veterans, and people with disabilities. Mr. Ochudho also serves on his church mission board as a member providing funding and serving as a liaison between missionaries and his church. Mr. Ochudho also served as a government executive in South Sudan from 2014-2016. These experiences have provided him with a great perspective about how nonprofit organizations operate and their relationships with funders and government.
Mr. Ochudho holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, an MA from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a BA in global studies and political science from the University of Minnesota. He lives in Farmington, MN with his wife and their children.
