Derge Medo is Associate Executive Director of Anywaa Community in Minnesota (ACM). In this role, Mr. Medo is responsible for supporting organization in strategic planning, program development, and fundraising efforts. This involves overseeing daily operations, building relationships with stakeholders like donors and community partners to increase finances, program implementation, budget management, and staff supervision. 

Derge Medo has extensive experience in community development. He has been leading Gogaboro Community Development Association (GCDA) for many years. GCDA is an organization that has been working with the people in his village to raise the level of food production in the village. He and his team have been able to contribute funds and organize his community that led to the increase in the food, by helping small farmers farm and sell some of their produce.

He lives in Cottage Grove, MN with his wife and their children. When he is not working at his day job, he enjoys working with the community to get more organized and increase community awareness.
