Jack Odolla
Jack Odolla is youth affairs director at Anywaa Community in Minnesota (ACM). In this role, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership and managing all aspects of the organization’s youth programs and services. In this role involves program development and implementation, staff and volunteer supervision, community engagement, and resource management to create a positive and impactful environment for young people’s growth and development.
Mr. Odolla while overseas, he worked with several non-governmental organizations in mostly in Ethiopia. He worked for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) helping the organization assess visa applications to USA, UK, AUS and EU countries.
He helped conduct pre-trip assessments and referring medical cases to nearby health centers after examinations. Prior to his IOM employment, he worked for UNIOM as nurse, assisting voluntarily of the Sudanese refugees from Bonga, Pengodo, Dima and Assosa Sorkole refugee camps return home.
He worked in the same position with UNICEF as research assistant on child welfare project, conducting interviews and group discussions with community discussions and assessing the problem related to child welfare with community leaders.
Last but least, he worked with MSF-CH Switzerland as nurse providing nursing air task in Itang health center and mobile clinic, assisting the nutritional program in doing wights and heights measures.
He holds nursing certificate from Car University and diploma level 4. As part of his work with non- governmental organizations, he did psychosocial in emergency respond and counseling IOM on job
